Get stuck in with us on our newest wetland restoration project – ‘Rewilding the Rom’!

Located in The Chase Local Nature Reserve, this newly created wetland linked to the River Rom not only reduces the flood risk to the area, it also provides excellent new habitat for wetland plant and animal species, but it needs your help to get established!

During this event we will be completing vegetation management to prepare an area of the site for some upcoming tree planting. We will also be collecting any litter that we spot on site.

This event is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. Please make sure you have weather appropriate clothing for the day. We will provide all other equipment needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you!
